Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it is the only thing that ever has. Margaret Mead (1901-1978) quoted in John M. RIchardson, ed. Making it Happen, 1982
I am currently a mother of two boys, part time caretaker of Quarantine Island for the St Martin Island community, along with my husband Wayne, a Enviroschools Facilitator and a part time outdoor instructor. I have been a curriculum advisor for Education for Sustainability at Otago Polytechnic. I have a background in teaching Outdoor Leadership and Sustainable Practice at a tertiary level. I love being outside, teaching/leading others, adventuring with friends and family and now I love living on Kamautaurua!

Hi Anna,
Hope things are well in your world.
We've been using this presentation...
http://www.slideshare.net/Annah/new-zealand-and-sustainability?from=ss_embed
in our intro to sustainability module. (Thanks for that :-) ) There's a stat in it which I'd like the reference for.
NZ's rate of 155 prisoners/1000 head of population.
I had a query about this the other day, went looking for a reference & couldn't find one.
